jamie, sin ningún tipo de vergüenza

It isn’t all bad.

At the library around the corner from my house because of ‘internet connectivity issues’. The wireless here is slow but steady, and I can’t help but feel grateful for it. This day has been weird, but against all odds, somehow became productive sometime late in the afternoon.

Other things that are making me feel grateful/hopeful:

— hearing lots of positive things about how awesome Ladyfest Boston was this weekend

— went to a really fantastic show at Stolen Sleeves last night, and got to see Shoppers and Sick Fix

— Also found out that a cool friend of a friend is fronting a hardcore band, that is 3/4 people of color and I can’t pretend to not be jazzed about that

— Beka is having a ‘birthday dessert thing’ tomorrow night, which is awesome even though it conflicts slightly with Alice Bag’s reading at Bluestockings

— Working on ridonk best friend/platonic Valentine’s date plans

I think there’s more, but the library is closing in a few minutes.
